I’ve grown up not really caring about nature and the world around me… But now, as I’ve grown up, I appreciate all these things so much… I just felt so carefree and blessed up on the top of the mountains, today.

CANADA DAY 6 – BIKING & SWIMMING IN WHISTLER
Today, we had a new destination. We were leaving Vancouver to head to Whistler for the weekend.
CANADA DAY 5 – PARAGLIDING AND ZIPLINING
So his instructor greeted us, set up the parachute and kit and took some photos with him and all of a sudden they were running off the side of a mountain.
CANADA DAY 4 – CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE AND GRANVILLE ISLAND
The whole place was all wooden and quaint and rustic with that earthy smell of wood and pine. We felt so touristy and silly with our cameras hanging from our necks: snap happy.
CANADA DAY 3 – SALTY SEA, SUSHI AND SIMPLICITY
Although I barely know these people and haven’t seen them for over a decade, I can sense the strong bond of a family.
CANADA DAY 2 – WE’RE ENGAGED
And he’s laughing and smiling as I’m sitting there in disbelief and tears and goes, “So Beth, will you marry me?”
CANADA DAY 1 – PASSING OUT ON A PLANE
“Ali, I really need to get out. Now.” I say.
He looks at me and goes “You’re green.”
And after that, I don’t remember anything.
